Leland Fleming (first and foremost) is a Christian who believes in using his talent to encourage, teach and train others to use their musical abilities to the fullest! He serves as one of the pastors at the College Park Church of Christ in Conroe.
Meet the Director!
He has begun his tenth year with Heaven Sent Choirs where his choirs have won various awards in competition. He has been actively teaching music within his church for approximately 30 years and is truly inspiring to those he teaches. He also plays guitar and piano; and enjoys teaching rudiments of music.
Leland believes in providing a positive environment in which to learn; and offers a well-rounded approach to the choral program. Using biblically motivated concepts and purpose for music instruction, he delights in leading choirs, congregations, and singing ensembles. He teaches sight-reading, vocal technique and music essentials in an easy to understand manner.
Leland is married to his beautiful wife, Kathie of 29 years. They have been home educating their children for 23 years. They have 9 children (5 married, four still living at home) and five beautiful grandchildren.
